In July 2021, the Federal Government announced the creation of a new federal statutory day on September 30, known as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This creation addresses Call to Action #80 of the 94 Calls to Action from the National Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Prairie Co-op recognizes the importance of this day as an opportunity for our Team Members and our community to take time to recognize and learn about the impacts and harmful legacy of residential schools and to find ways to participate in meaningful acts of reconciliation and healing.
