Where Would You Go on Free Fuel for a Year?

Melfort, SK (for immediate release) – In it’s second year, the Federated Co-op Limited’s Win Your Fill contest gave members and customers of Co-op Gas Bars throughout western Canada an opportunity to answer that question.

“Where would I go . . . to visit my family. I have family in Saskatoon, Watson, Calgary, Carrot River and Codette”, says Cecile Green of Melfort. Cecile was one of 168 Free Fuel for a Year winners, winning $2000 worth of Co-op gift cards in the contest. Between Monday, May 10th and Sunday, July 4th, daily draws were made. In addition to the $2000 prizes, almost 1300 $50 gift cards were awarded.

Keith Mamer, Prairie North Co-op Gas Bar Division Manager, explains, “Co-ops are a different kind of business. Our profits are returned to customers in cashback and equity and our profits are re-invested in the community through partnerships, sponsorships, and donations. Contests like Win Your Fill; Win It! Fill It! Grill It!; Propane for Pets; and Fuel Good Days are just another way we are different from our competition. The pandemic has put a lot of pressure on our frontline team members and it's these types of things give us a chance to have a little fun.”
