//EDITED September 30, 2021// Due to the high COVID case numbers, we are postponing our installation of "Igniting the Spirit of Reconciliation" scheduled for Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2 in Fort Qu'Appelle at the Fort Qu'Appelle Legion.

We have also postponed the installation at Melville Community Works that was scheduled for Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23.

We are committed to displaying this important collection of works, but we need to protect the health of our community.

The Federal Government has declared September 30th a statutory holiday called the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which seeks to honour First Nations, Inuit, and Metis survivors, their families, and their communities. This day is to ensure that public commemoration of their history and the legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the Reconciliation process.

Our path forward on our Truth and Reconciliation journey will be focused on building stronger relationships with our First Nations partners, and our journey has just begun.

Prairie Co-op is proud to present an installation of the 94-canvas Truth and Reconciliation project created by the students and staff at Balcarres Community School.  We invite the public to view these powerful works.

We will be exhibiting the works in Fort Qu'Appelle and Melville.
